CBN is partnering with Docity to bring you a new type of service. Docity provides a telehealth portal through which you can connect with a medical provider using your computer, laptop or smartphone. The connection is very secure, with a patent-pending telehealth network that ensures your privacy. With this internet service, you can request medication refills, book appointments, and even see your doctor for a visit.


What is telehealth? Is it the same as telemedicine?

Telemedicine is providing health care services and clinical information using telecommunication technology. Telehealth is similar, but a little broader, since telehealth is the use of telecommunications to support and promote health.

How do I get this service?

After you enroll, you will be sent a link to connect to the secure website to set up an account.

How do I pay for it?

CBN will add the service to your monthly bill. The co-pay for the visit will be handled separately.

Can I see my doctor with Docity service? What kinds of doctors can I connect with?

After you enroll, you will be directed to a list of providers currently enrolled. If you would like to see a particular provider, please feel free to let him or her know about this service. Docity currently has a network of doctors enrolled, including Pediatricians, Family Practice Doctors, and Internal Medicine Providers, and the network is rapidly expanding.

Why should I buy this service?

Docity provides an extra level of connection to medical services, which can give you the security of knowing a provider is available to you without the need for an office visit.

Can Docity bill my insurance company?

No, not at the moment. In order to keep prices very reasonable, Docity requests that any insurance billing be arranged with the doctor’s office.

I’m having chest pain. Can Docity help me with that?

No, if you’re having chest pain, you need emergency services as soon as possible. Please call 911, or go to your nearest Emergency Room. Through Docity service, you can get help with routine, non-acute complaints, and save yourself the time and gas money to go see your doctor.

What if I have a problem getting set up or connected?

CBN and their technicians can assist you with basic setup and connection issues. For any medical health-related problems or questions, or problems with the Docity portal, please call Docity directly during the day from 7 am to 10 pm, or call CBN.
